Default Ground Hum/TCH play acoustic

Here is the signal chain:
Sennheiser mic to mic in TCH
piezo or piezo/magnet pick up guitar to guitar in TCH
mic out and guitar out to Marshall as100d acoustic amp(separate channels)
plugged into a Furman power conditioner

Does the Play Acoustic have a ground lift buried in the menu somewhere?
I can't get rid of the hum unless I touch the mic, the hit buttons
or guitar.
Any ideas?

Thanks in advance,
Chickee

Are you sure it's the Play Acoustic that's creating the hum? If you aren't sure, I'd eliminate both the power conditioner and the Play Acoustic and see if that stops the hum. Then I'd add the power conditioner, and then the Play Acoustic to see which part is creating the hum. I also notice that the wall wart of the Play Acoustic will plug in in either direction. Maybe reverse the direction of the plug? My Play acoustic is dead quiet plugged in in either direction.

I'm guessing the Marshall amp does not have a connection to earth ground (3rd prong). Possibly because of the Furman. Try earthing the Marshall chassis and I bet all the hum goes away.

OK, thank you very much. I will try all when I get home this evening and report back with results.
Thank you again.

There is a ground lift switch on the PlayAcoustic -- it's the little button labeled GND next to the GUITAR DI XLR output. Try that, and good luck!

It's horrible getting old. Black button on black painted metal. Bahahaha!!!
OK, this is great to know because it wasn't the power strip and it wasn't the Marshall. Lets see tonight. Thanks again cool cats, I'm feeling lucky now.
