Default X10 First Listen - Finally!!!

Finally, a video with the X10 where you can hear it in action:

Thoughts?
Personally, I'm excited. After going back on forth between an X30 and an X10 for months, I am finally feeling settled on an X10, especially given the X30 has no suitable case meaning travel with the beast will be sketchy...

Nice color, too. I'm looking forward to some hands-on very soon.

When the announcements of the new models were made, I went back and forth between the new X7 and the X10. I wasn't expecting the "electric leaning" of the new X10... but the more I thought about it, the more versatile it seems.

Thanks for posting the link to the video!

This recent post indicates that the issue with the X30 case has been resolved:

Mr. K;

I look forward to your play of the 10, and appreciate your time and effort in the exploration of carbon fiber guitars.

Mayhaps you could make that video include both the new and old style (center sound hole) X10s for comparison....pretty please

Now I KNOW Evan has been kidnapped and replaced with a polite-bot. OR, the wait has finally gotten to him and he has had some sort of breakdown.

We're here for you, Evan. Be strong.

Yes ... something is not right...must be up to something ... or a moderator had to rein him in some... or he got up on the correct side of the bed...

They are sooo different, would be like comparing Apples to Macs...sorta... or Mustang II to regular Mustangs...

Seriously: not funny. We have owned some interesting cars over the years... but I bought one of those first year Mustang IIs. Yes, I was the one. I should have known it was a big mistake when driving it home from the dealership, we pulled into the driveway and the radiator fell out.

Not like buying a guitar. That always works out.

Mr.K;

Yes the moderators and I have had numerous conversations. I like them. They are busy maintaining a really nice forum and I try to give them reasons for their dedication. I think they like me. It's sort of like how crime works for the police.

I'd like to hear an A/B test between an unplugged new X7 & an unplugged L2 (or 3)-X10. There's been a few posts that the loaded X10's are a bit dull.
