It's a bit of a weird one, but I have one of these. It's Blackstar Super Fly, and it works both AC/DC (either AAs or an LiIon battery you can get, and which I have). I also have the extention cabinet that doubles the power from 12 to 24 watts and gives you stereo. I haven't used it bunches yet, but it works well so far for electric, acoustic, and a mic.

I'd buy a powered speaker and an amp modeler for the electric sound. The powered speaker will amplify voice and acoustic realistically, and amplify the amp and speaker sim of the modeler.

I've got a FrFr Headrush 2000watter I could use...
Or a Kustom BAT40 for when I need battery powered PA..

Any recommendations for a unit to put in front of it?
Boss VE-8?
TC Helicom Perform-VG Vocal and Acoustic Guitar Processor ({m sure it would work for a ES339
or
TC-Helicon VoiceLive Play Acoustic Guitar and Vocal Effects Processor Pedal

I like the ideal of the VE-8 for ease of operation...I don't want to deal with a lot of programming

Good question. I think the need for a mic input limits you to acoustic guitar amps for the most part, which ALL seem to have a mic channel. I dont see why you cant play an electric guitar through one, but you tone is going to be very clean. A pedal should restore some nice breakup you may want.

I use my Henriksen Bud for all three, but will use an amp modeler of some sort for the electric, like a sans amp

The two channel powered PA speaker of your choice, QSC K, QSC CP, Yamaha DBR... and an HX Stomp for your guitar.

You can plug a pedalboard straight into a Boss S1pro and play electric or acoustic.

I really like my Cube Street EX a bunch. It's usable for electric, acoustic guitar and has a second mic / instrument channel.
The video below is recorded with a Tascam DR-05 recorder stuck in front of it, so that's what it sounds like. If you need it to be loud, it can put out a LOT of volume.

This is my route as well. An acoustic amp
I dont think will get your tele or your strat or whatever you have the tone your looking for.
An frfr speaker will do both nicely. The helix
Stomp will do the amp models. One button push
Will move you from acoustic to electric.
I use my stomp for mandolin and acoustic
And I'm building a tele so soon will have it in the
Loop as well.

I've use my fishman loudbox mini for all three. The electric sounds good if you like a clean sound. It worked well in a solo/duo type scenario but really didn't cut it when competing with drums and another electric guitar player.
