Heart of Gold, by Neil Young. You can even do a two-chord thing at the start: Em D. Taught it to my daughter recently; she thinks she's hot stuff.

Let's see, in the category "Dinosaurs Play Guitar".. I think my first tune was "The Wild Mountain Thyme", a traditional Scottish tune. Then I started in on Joni Mitchell's Marcie...

Opening riff to Folsom Prison Blues (J. Cash). Then the entire Harvest album (N. Young). (back in the days of real turntables and vinyl).

The first two songs I learned to play were "Dear Mr. Fantasy" - Traffic and "Love Song - Loggins & Messina, but I don't remember which came first, probably because it was a loooong time ago.

I've been listening to Dave Matthews Band since before I could speak English (I'm a youngin'), but the first songs I learned - Diggin' Your Ditch, and All Along the Watch Tower- happened to be so simple I taught myself every lick he (Dave) typically plays in both songs in one day...
Long live Dave Matthews fans,
Slow death to Blink 182 fans...
