Mint 2022 Martin D-41 Adirondack Top / Sinker sides and Back

Is $6500 an obscene amount of money to pay for a custom Martin in Ambertone finish? I've seen enough Rosewood already. Thank you for any insight, hard to gauge the custom market prices.
