Default Ashokan Farewell by Jay Ungar arr. El McMeen

Yesterday I had the opportunity to demo two guitars recently finished by Ralph Bown of York, UK.

Here's a custom 12-fret cutaway in Madagascan Rosewood & Sitka, with Ebony trim soon heading to the States.

'Ashokan Farewell' by Jay Ungar arr. El McMeen. Tuning: CGDGAD.

I hope you enjoy it.

Jonny

That was gorgeous playing Jonny. And what a beautiful timbre you coaxed from that instrument. Quite an unconventional but lovely character.

That's as beautiful a solo arrangement as I have ever heard of that great old tune. Outstanding!

One of my students introduced me to the arrangement, straightforward, but beautiful.
