Default Songs in the key of Z

Post songs with highly unorthodox rhythm, themes and/or musicality.

Hereís my choice. I think it fulfils all of the above criteria.

A little unsettling..no doubt intentionally. It works.

I think that this one qualifies... though, admittedly, I am a big fan of Mike Keneally... he is a superb guitarist/artist.

I used to say I sang in the Gillette key (B#). Not many got it then either.

IIRC, that was part of the Gillette jingle gracing TV commercial breaks before we returned to Dizzy Dean and PeeWee Reese providing play-by-play and color commentary of the week's professional baseball broadcast...circa 1957-1961. Truth is, the jingle was probably even older and likely used on radio long before then, but I recall those ball games quite vividly.

Oh well, sorry for the thread derailment. Back to the actual topic...

Cheers,
Dirk

On the more normal side of strange, I have always been a fan of "What Time Is It?" by Ken Nordine: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1_hdeT4BaRo

Probably the strangest I've heard that I still find interesting to listen to is "VI Scose Poise" by Autechre, which mostly sounds like a ball bouncing around inside of your head: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kQU0KvDrKJA

I'm a Ken Nordine fan. Did you know he's an acknowledged influence on Laurie Anderson?
