Default NGD...Waiting for the BROWN truck!!!!

It's amazing how much fun it is to wake up in the morning, run the tracking number, and find "Out for delivery" and a day early to boot! So, here I sit, goofing off and typing to all the AGF'ers.

And the guitar...a lefty Kremona Fandango FG630CW. Many thanks to Rich Shepherd at Kremona USA for making this happen, this is not a model they normally do lefty and he also allowed me to change the Fishman system in it from the standard Classica preamp to the Prefix Pro (which has a mic also). I had a Fiesta F65 which is a great guitar but with a full 53 (!) mm nut, 650mm scale (truly classical guitar sizes) and flat fingerboard, it was tough switching back and forth between it and my steel strings on gigs (my steel strings are either 1.75" or 1.875" nut widths). The Fandango is a 48mm nut (1.88") and 630mm scale with a radiussed board, Kremona's crossover if you will.

I will post pics later today and record something on it tonight.

Jimmy

In honor of the Brown truck's immminent arrival, here's the late, great Steve Goodman's ode to late night TV infomercials and the Brown truck's arrival (you need to be of a certain age, if you know what I mean, to get most of the references. Let's say, born 1965 and earlier!!!)

Hey Rick,
Tell Ted I said hello. I need to sit down and record something on it so he can hear it.
