Default Martin GPRS1, Anyone played it?

This looks like quite a bargain. It's a GC only model;

I really like the Martin GP size and it looks great without the cut-out. I'm Upstate in the boonies for the week so I can't get over to GC to try one. But as soon as I get back to Long Island, I'm going to go look for one.

Let's see if any of you Monday morning posters know anything about the GPRS1. I'm thinking of buying it for in-store pickup and going to see it when I get back to Long Island.

I had one for about a week and really wanted to like it. I thought it was of excellent quality and certainly has that Martin look, feel, and sound despite being made in Mexico.

I was looking for a slightly smaller body so I ended up 'trading' for a 000-15M and am much happier with the upgrade - but it's more because the smaller body size is my preference than any other reason.

I have bad shoulders and I get uncomfortable pretty quickly if I'm wrapped around a larger body and longer scale length.

Default GPRS1

It was the first better guitar I owned. Nice enough but I thought it was very heavy. Overly not bad for the price, but it really didn't leave a lasting impression on me.

I have played them, and generally like the 000RS1 better.

Good thing about the GPRS1 is that it is an MF/CG exclusive, so you can get a discount compared to a 000RS1 or DRS1
