Martin GPRS1, Anyone played it?
This looks like quite a bargain. It's a GC only model;
https://www.guitarcenter.com/Martin/...tric-Guitar.gc I really like the Martin GP size and it looks great without the cut-out. I'm Upstate in the boonies for the week so I can't get over to GC to try one. But as soon as I get back to Long Island, I'm going to go look for one. |

Let's see if any of you Monday morning posters know anything about the GPRS1. I'm thinking of buying it for in-store pickup and going to see it when I get back to Long Island.

I had one for about a week and really wanted to like it. I thought it was of excellent quality and certainly has that Martin look, feel, and sound despite being made in Mexico.
I was looking for a slightly smaller body so I ended up 'trading' for a 000-15M and am much happier with the upgrade - but it's more because the smaller body size is my preference than any other reason. I have bad shoulders and I get uncomfortable pretty quickly if I'm wrapped around a larger body and longer scale length. |

GPRS1
It was the first better guitar I owned. Nice enough but I thought it was very heavy. Overly not bad for the price, but it really didn't leave a lasting impression on me.

I have played them, and generally like the 000RS1 better.
Good thing about the GPRS1 is that it is an MF/CG exclusive, so you can get a discount compared to a 000RS1 or DRS1
