Default Double Guitar Stand Recommendations

Looking for a double guitar stand of decent quality for use on stage.
I currently have an Ultimatesupport GS-1000 Pro stand, but I'm looking to add a second guitar soon, and it'll hopefully be another guitar for use on stage.

Looking at their current list of stands, they have a GS-102 which looks the goods(admittedly without the same locking system as the GS-1000), but does anyone have experience with them? I can't find an Australian distributor that carries them though at the moment.

I'll also look at alternatives from other brands that you may suggest.

Thanks in advance.

Second this, mine has held up very well and I've had no issues with it.

Another vote for the Herc. Robust and stable, an excellent stand.

+1. Although I don't have a double stand I have numerous Hercules floor stands and wall hangers. If I were to get a double/triple stand it would be Hercules. Worth the extra cash.

Yet another. I Have had a Hercules 2-guitar stand for years, where I keep a couple carbon fiber guitars all the time.

I like the Gator tolex case stand. Will hold 2 acoustics. Or 1 acoustic and 2 electrics. Jumbo's fit a little tight though. But chance of falling is 0.

Default Double Guitar Stand Recommendations

I use Hercules, I have 2 single stands and the large 5 guitar stand. Unfortunately one of my single Hercules stands went so sticky and tacky it became completely unusable which was annoying. This was an issue with multiple Hercules stands a few years back. Hopefully this issue is fully resolved.

My first Hercules stand was a triple, and it had the ‘sticky rubber’ syndrome. My double and two singles, all bought later, have been fine - around ten years old now, and no problems whatsoever - so the sticky-rubber issue seems to be sorted.

Bobster,, yes it was an issue that has been resolved.

I believe that if you reach out to them, they may replace that one for you, (unless you tossed it out already)

Only for US-ians, and Bobster7 appears to be in England. They (i.e. Hercules) won’t deal at all with UK-dwellers, they simply refer us to their UK distributors. If the faulty stand is out of the warranty period (one year in the UK), the distributors will offer a discount on the purchase of a new stand - they offered me a 20% discount, and I gave them some advice about a suitable place to shove it.

What a great way for a manufacturer to ensure brand loyalty! I'd do the same.
