Default My number one fan!

Iíve always been hot blooded. Whether Iím working out or playing out, Iím the first to sweat. It seems like about 90% of my gigs are either in the hot sun or a hot stage. Iím usually half soaked by the time Iíve set up PA, lights, guitars pedals or whatever. Iíve learned over the years to ALWAYS bring my number one fan. It usually sits on the floor on my left side set on medium or high.
-Anyone else need a little air movement when playing out? Do I need to have my sweat glands removed or maybe play in an astronaut suit with climate control?

The dog is my #1 fan but that's only when she thinks she might get meat or join me on a trail ride.

For moving air I treasure a Manning-Bowman fan that's been in the family my entire life. I believe it is from the late 1940s or early 1950s. Never in my life have I experienced another fan that is so quiet at lowest setting. It's been in my possession since the late 1970s. We've never found anything else in the same league.

It depends on the weather conditions but yes, sometimes I bring my fan (Lasko 3300 20″ Wind Machine Fan) if it's going to be near, or above, 90. I do not play in direct sunlight. I expect cover or I bring my 8x8' gazebo - at extra charge.

Same issue for me, I've taken to bringing a small fan, too. Others appreciate it at open mics. There never seems to be good air circulation where you're setting up to play. Move about 15 feet from the 'stage' and ladies are putting on sweaters because the AC is blowing right at them.
