sorry, Andy - I got nuthin' that's gonna impress anybody, but technically I can participate ...

Epiphone PR-200, my dad's old Korea-made beast - serial # database says April, 1994.

Takamine G330G - the first 'decent' guitar I bought.
Takamine cannot provide any information based on serial number; it doesn't follow the normal pattern.
For some reason it's surprisingly difficult to get any info on these earlier G-Series Taks ... I know it's at least as old as October 1995, because that's when I bought it.
And it plays and sounds pretty decent, so I'm keeping it.

... and that's about all I've got ...

The oldest guitar i own ( that i know of ) is a Howard A Foote and Sons era 1850's -- not in bad shape , plays great and sounds sweet -for a parlour
and i own several others from the early 1900's .

I have a Martin D18 that has a 1949 number in it. My dad bought it in 1950 so I guess I’m on the cusp of the poll choices.

I have a banjo that is from about 1900 but the oldest guitar I have ever owned was from the early 60s. Now, all of my guitars (4) are 2001 or later. I had a good friend (RIP, Linda) who had a Martin 0-18 from around 1920 or so. Beautiful instrument. She ended up selling it to Neil Diamond and he used it as his couch guitar.

Best,
Jayne

I have a 1925 Weissenborn Style 4. I could just stare at the Koa for hours; just wish I could play it better...…..
