Default RIP--Art Bell Passes On A Friday The 13th

Yes, it's true. Art Bell, who founded the late night syndicated conspiracy/paranormal/UFO-themed show called "Coast To Coast" actually passed away at the age of 72 at his Pahrump, Nevada, home yesterday--on Friday The 13th.

The mold was broken with Art Bell. Man that dude had so many awesome shows that kept me up late into the night. Lost a lot of sleep listening to Art. God speed Art, and thanks.

Always enjoyed his show from "The Kingdom of Nye"... I was amazed at how many nutcases there were / are out there, and how convincing they could, and can be, about their underground cities, ghosts, UFO activity, and government skullduggery, that they knew / know the straight dope about, while the general public was / is just clueless, as to "what was / is really going on...."

I'd always wonder if Art, & his guests, really believed those "big windy stories" they told on the radio?

Don

Everything that happens in the High Desert stays in the High Desert....

Friday the 13th. I guess he had a final chuckle.

RIP Art.

Just a quick note. On Thursday April 19, 2018, the syndicated radio show "Coast To Coast Am," hosted by George Noory, will present a special tribute to Art Bell, "with surprise guests throughout the night, classic audio clips, and more."
