Martin 000 cutaway opinions
Any of you guys playing one of these?
I'm looking for a short scale 000 sized body and a cutaway. but they appear to be far and few in-between. |

My opinion is, I like them and would love to own one. I haven't seen one with the short scale though. Does Martin make one or would you have to order a custom build?

Martin Steve Miller Signature “Pegasus”
If you can find one, this is a great guitar. I love mine.
Something like 385 made. Short scale, pretty trim. Quality wood and an Englemann top. |

Which one are you referring to?
Is it the Steve Miller model? |

Quilted Mahogany B/S, Englemann Top, Fismann electronics (In my opinion, it’s the best sounding pickup of any of my acoustic instruments) 1 3/4 nut, 2 1/4 saddle spacing. Short scale, no fretboard inlay, 1902 (or is it 1906?) torch head inlay. It’s not gonna sound booming like a rosewood- But it’s my go-to guitar. I play it fingerstyle- sounds great- Strumming hard? no problem. Light touch?perfect. |

I play every bit of my neck. From the nut to the body. And as far over the bodies edge as I can reach. I'll never buy another cutaway acoustic.

The 000-28 "Babyface" was a great one, if anyone can find one. Very limited, it was pretty much a 000-28EC (Clapton) with a cutaway.

Please explain. You know this sounds counterintuitive so you must understand something that I should learn.
