Default Father's Day Gift

I was given a D'addario Micro tuner and like its low profile. Question is: anyone leave theirs attached for an extended period? I see there is a thin rubber pad on both sides of the tuner. Might there be any damage to the head stock from continuous contact.

Which one did you get? The Micro Soundhole Tuner? If its the soundhole version, I keep mine on all the time on every guitar. I've not used the headstock version.

I can't imagine they're different. Again, I leave mine on the sound hole and have no issues.

I’ve had one of them attached to my GS Mini and another on my Telecaster for about 5 years, only taking them off to fit batteries ...

No marks whatsoever where they’ve been.

HOWEVER, I do not leave ‘em on anything with a nitro finish, just in case....

I have them on my Larrivee L03 and Breedlove mandolin and leave them on all the time with no problem.
