Thumbs up Write A Song About Your Beater (They Deserve It)

In the tradition of TBman's Thread titled "Post a clip of your "beater"", I would like to take this to the next level.

I think that we are taking our beaters for granted, and we tend to forget how much inspiration they have provided for us, how they have allways been there for us, and how we could allways count on them.

They deserve to have a song written just for them!!!

So... Write a little song about your beater and post it here... Make your beater happy... Just remember how much happyness it has given you, and asked for nothing in return (except maybe a set of strings every once in a while).

Common...

I'll start with a little something I threw together in about an hour...

My beater has been smiling at me since I did this...

Nice song, you've got a great voice. Did you record it with your beater?

Wow... thanks for the compliment.

I never owned more than one guitar at a time. So, yes... every guitar I've owned has been my beater...

Good idea Bob. And as always, another great vocal job!

I'll see what I can write for my beater later as we have our son's baseball game to go to and our daughter's birthday party right after the game.

Ok, here's mine

"The Beater Blues" - no eq, no reverb, no compression - no nuttin. (This is definitely done "tongue in cheek and in about a minute and a half)
