I recommend trying a set of monel Retros on there!
Man, I agree about the Retro Monels. They sound great on my 000-15m!

I might take you up in the Monels...they come up quite a lot for strings to use on mahogany guitars.

Congrats, the Martin 15s are superb guitars. My 0-15 Westside can without doubt be regarded as the runt of the litter in my collection but it just charms everytime I play it, gorgeous Mahogany tone. Enjoy.

One of the very best things about all-hog guitars is the aroma. It will fill a room with that heavenly scent.

Wow that guitar is simply beautiful. Vintage out of the box! Do you have to go custom in order to get a slot head 0-15? And how wide is the nut? Looks like it may be wider than 1 3/4.

Try ‘em. Not only do they sound good, they seem to last a while too.

Thank You!!
Yes...custom shop for 0 size and slot heads. The nut is 1 3/4”...comfortable neck
too...2 1/8 at the nut.... 2 3/16 at the bridge.
Really nice for the fingerstyle I do (flesh/no picks).
This thing is really addictive!!
