Default Martin dealers in southern UK?

Any recommendations for Martin stockists in the southern / central UK who carry decent stock?

Coda Music in Stevenage. Did me a good trade-in deal when I bought my Lowden F-23 there. They have a large stock of Martins - 72 at the last count!

Coda, as mentioned, is great.

Also consider

Guitar Village in Farnham

Cheers folks. I took a trip to Guitar Village as it was the closest out of those - it was a potentially expensive trip...

Coda Music is a great store to deal with I have bought a number of guitars from Chris over the years, great bloke to deal with and good trade in deals. Worth having a look at their second hand section they have some lovely guitars for a good price

If you're near enough to come to London, you can cut the middle man out and go straight to the UK distributer which is Westside Musical instruments in Denmark Street. I bought from them and they were good with any problems and obviously had the best experience/recommendations in Martin guitars. And obviously they have almost every model available, if not immediately then quicker than anyone else.

It’s a great shop if you don’t need to trade-in a guitar. When I went there the last time, they told me they don’t do trades. Might have changed, but I haven’t heard that it has.

Coda, on the other hand, are very open to trades, and give a good deal in my experience.

The usual disclaimers apply......IMHO, YMMV etc.

Good to know. I suppose it's because they're a distributor foremost.

But not a very helpful distributor - I called to enquire about which dealers might have certain less common models and they suggested I call them all and ask
