There is no weave showing anywhere on the guitar.

My festival guitar is all tricked out now, thanks to the indispensable information from ACFers, Jerry in particular. Got a pickguard from StewMac, 1.5 mm casein pick from Charmed Life and G7 Heritage capo. Now where’s my EZ-up?

While I'm generally a fan of visible carbon fiber weave, Rainsong sure does a nice job with that copper burst, or whatever they call it. Pretty!
I spent the last hour playing my Lucky 13 (with 13 frets to the body 24.75" scale) on the back porch swing. Not a 12-fret short scale dread, but close except for the body size. It will get new strings now, then head off to a jam with friends tomorrow afternoon. |

I generally like my guitars without pickguars (or clear ones) but I have to say, that nice Stew-Mac guard really ties the aesthetic together.
