I didn't want phone calls and told them so and they stopped. The candy is a nice touch even though I usually just toss it and I can often find the gear at better prices elsewhere.

However, I do like their pictures of actual guitars and I really appreciate their service oriented business model.

I really think some of you are awful hard to satisfy.

Makes mw want to order something from Sweetwater just to see how bad that candy is ;-)
This.

Is just a brand thing, folks...almost tongue in cheek. With other companies, you get nothing, so... And regarding other “rewards” for being a loyal shopper...ask for a discount. I’m betting they will beat the price that appears online. And if you ask them not to call, they will gladly comply.

I don't mind the candy I can always find some to eat it. But I Agree calling me 30 times trying reach me about how my 4.89 dollar pack of strings is working out even up 3 months later is a little obsessive. At three months I've more than likely changed the strings.

I give the candy to my dad. He loves it.

I get candy bars from a supply company I use for one of my businesses. One time they forgot. I felt like I did when I got dumped by a lover back in 85.' I was down all day. Don't underestimate the power of candy! There's more to this!

30 times eh? I think you're exaggerating just a tad.

Hi mac-m-m

If you answer the call once and share with them that you don't need the calls, they will respond.

I like Sweetwater as much as any other retailers. The candy doesn't make me like them better, but it is fine. I haven't gotten a call from my sales rep for several years. Bonus bucks?? I've heard rumors of those but I've never found them. If I have any they are well hidden. My problem with Sweetwater is that their prices are the same as everyone and they never run any deals, at least none I've ever seen.

I would prefer a string winder...
Or a tuner, or a cap/beanie, or a T-shirt...
