issues with resurrecting peavey classic

I got directed to this site for the first powerup of my amp. Basically, it goes through and checks each section of the amp sequentially starting without tubes to help make sure you don't have a serious problem hiding out. It was written for new builds, but might come in handy for an old amp as well.

Yeah.. I was reading the comments regarding the old caps.... and I'm inclined to agree that they are a disaster waiting to happen. Doesn't look like it'll cost me an arm and a leg to do it, so I may as well.
