Default Kustom 1x12 Cabinet

I'm looking for an inexpensive 1x12 to use with a new VHT Special 6 Ultra. This will only be for home use. I've been looking online for something used, but I don't want to wait too long. The Kustom 1x12 comes in at an even $99 with free shipping....thoughts? I am capable of using a soldering iron, so buying cabinet and speaker separately isn't out of the question. Trying to keep this below $150 if possible.

Worth a try IMO, if only for the opportunity cost - you could always upgrade the speaker when funds permit...

When you're ready:

FWIW I'm a major fan of the Patriot Series - I've got a Swamp Thang in my Bugera V22 and it totally transformed the character, from Brit-voiced practice box (EL84's in the power section) to a tone-clone of the old blue-check Ampeg Gemini II/B-12XT NYC studio "key club" amps of the mid-60's, that'll handle a 600+ seat house with no problem; IMO with your 6V6 power section you'll get blackface Twin-style tone - big, fat, and full with little or no speaker breakup - that really lets you hear the tonal character contribution of your tubes...

Default Please post your results

I have a new Super X2 and would love to add a 12" cabinet to it, would really like to hear your review of the cabinet if you don't mind.
Thanks

Eminence and Warehouse Guitar speakers are great replacement options. Both made in the USA. I went with a WGS in my VHT combo.
