And one more point, the Lithium Ion battery packs in the JBL and Bose are custom and proprietary. If they stop sourcing them, and no third party clone market develops (as there is for high volume laptops and power tools), then you are out of luck when the battery dies.
Fishman's SLA is a standard part borrowed from home alarms and motor scooters which you will always be able to get cheap from many third parties.
