Default If you could get a new guitar for Christmas what would it be?

Mine would be a Martin CEO-7 or a Fylde Falstaff

Mine would be the companion to my Santa Cruz 1934D with old growth mahogany back and sides (to pair with my BRW). At that point I believe I could essentially offload most or all of my arsenal and be happy with the dual 34Ds.

However I am fairly certain Santa knows I have not been adequately good enough this year to warrant that being left under the tree.

The Mahogany/Spruce prototype guitar I didn't get from Tom Doerr.

We talked about it at length, then I had some things come up - next thing I knew he was too busy again.

I'll always regret my reluctance.

Anything from Mr. Monteleone. If not new, then my previously (foolishly) sold 1935 Martin 0-17.

Eastman AC422CE

Grand auditorium body size. Sitka spruce top and rosewood back & sides. Cutaway. LR Baggs Element EAS VTC.

Played a couple in stores. It has a bright & balanced tone that is very different from my 35 year-old spruce & mahogany Guild dreadnought. Both looks & sounds much nicer than any other $1300 guitar I've run across.

An Atkin LG47, but I'll never have enough "good boy" points in my life for that one.

If Santa could really bring me any guitar I wanted, right now I'd have to say a Collings D2H. Just because I've been listening to a lot of my guitar teacher's playing and that's the guitar he has!

OM-sized spruce/rosewood. Santa's a pretty smart dude so I'll let him pick which one.

Mine is coming a few weeks after Christmas....an Emerald X20. One of these days it may be a Wilborn Arum.

I picked up a Martin Grand J-16E 12-string yesterday. I guess that's my Christmas guitar.
