Thought about it.

They had a gorgeous X-20, but it had fretmarkers on the fretboard for some reason. *bleh*

I'm afraid I'd get lost without them. Chordally probably not but trying to get more into working with lead stuff....I think I'd lose myself. Perhaps not. I dunno. I'm just bad anyway, so what's it matter?!

Same here. I ordered mine with the little Trinity knots. I think they look nice - and it is an Irish guitar after all.

I still haven't figured out how people hold a guitar AND can see the fretmarkers on the fretboard at the same time.

I do use the side dots.

Obviously, middle-aged spread (aka "beer belly") has yet to set in for you...we who play with a strap and the guitar high on the chest can see the entire neck!
