I agree with the chorus here - this needs professional work, and it will be worth it. Even if you sell it after repair, I'm guessing you'd come out above water.
Thankfully, the auctioneer seemed to take about 80 photos! (probably after buddy threatened to sue them after seeing the shape of it last time it was auctioned)

Besides a tiny but of wear in the plating on the neck heel strap button... honestly, it looks like it's never been played. Still has a mirror finish.

I can't wait to pick it up tomorrow. I'll post an update.

Default a thought

Beppe Gambetta is the only performer I've seen who gigs with his R. Taylor.

Wow, looks to me like the back and a bit of binding are the only issues!

I got it today, and yeah, that's it, really! Genuinely feels like it's had less than 10 hours of play. The strings (presumably Elixirs) aren't even discoloured and sound bright and sharp. Intonation is still spot on! Strings feel a bit stiff to me, I'm thinking 12-56. Lots of 'case candy' but no certificate sadly. Sadly, there's about 30 thumb and finger picks, none of which fit my giant 6'5" paws.

Amazing note clarity and sustain, but not a ton of low end at the moment. Still sounds a bit boxy like a brand new guitar. I'll make sure to put in the hours to open it up.

I have Gotoh 510 tuners on another guitar, but ****, these ones feel like absolute butter. Tuning stability is brilliant, even with a capo. I appreciate the Shubb it came with. I've never used one before today, but the hype is justified!
