Been watching this build, what an accomplishment. That fade on the back strap is a super classy detail.

Looks a million dollars this guitar. Love the braz, love the lapis lazuli, love the LS, love the bevels. I'm glad you went with gloss on this. I know that it will attract fingerprints but really accentuates the awesome materials.

I think that it's awesome to have a guitar as a piece of art as well as a great player. It can be more inspiring to pick up the guitar and coax out some tunes when it looks great.

Thanks guys. That color was Tory's idea. He sourced the Lapis and requested its use. I didn't have much In the way of stone working tools (that has changed) so would have never even thought to go this route left to my own imagination. That's part of the joy of creative partnerships that develop between customers and luthiers who do custom work.
