Martin J-65 Mint condition 1992 Maple

This guitar is as rare as hen's teeth! Less than 450 made and this one is a beauty, in mint condition, with original luxury Geib case (with leather handle, Model no. 580 - the catch on the back side has come off but the hinge still functions and the 5 latches keep the guitar well protected. These cases are expensive). Like new, yet 30 years old. Solid spruce top with maple back and sides, tortoise binding along the neck and around the body of the guitar. The fretboard is ebony and the neck is very comfortable and plays 'super fast'. The original plastic cover is still on the pick guard, so no scatches, there, either! It produces an amazing sound, with clear highs and a bass that you can actually feel. A lovely, balanced sound that you can only get with maple. Comes with original 'case candy', including a brochure published by Martin in 1992, detailing the range of guitars available from the company at that time. No pick up fitted, Never been gigged.
