Went to the Raider game yesterday, good fun. Probably my last visit to the Coliseum, which is a shame. Good crowd, mediocre game. Bengals played hard and their D-Line gave us a lot of trouble. Glad we won. So many injuries on defense, it's a good thing their QB isn't good.

Some cool stuff in the Black Hole going on before the game. First of all, safety Erik Harris came by and played catch with the fans all along the Black Hole and along the sidelines for about 10 minutes. Really fun for the kids. He's a cool story, an un-drafted guy who was in and out of the CFL and finally caught on with the Raiders as a free agent. He's worked his way up to a starting spot and last week had 2 picks including a pick 6, as well as another one that was taken away by someone else's penalty. Seemed like a guy who appreciates the fans and appreciates his good fortune.

Also fun was that rookie Maxx Crosby, who looks to be a star in the making, came by and signed autographs for a bunch of folks. He went on to have 4 (4!!, including a strip sack) sacks in the game, and seems to be another guy just stoked to be where he's at. Here's Mad Maxx pumping up the Black Hole.
