Default Sheppard African Blackwood Ave Maria Grand Auditorium

I just completed this Ave Maria Grand Auditorium Model Instrument. It is made of African Blackwood back and sides, and Swiss Spruce Top. The scale length is 24.9".

As you can see. It also has a few other bells and whistles. The binding and bevels are Amazon Rosewood which perfectly matches the brown-tones in the Blackwood. There is no plastic on this guitar except for the nearly invisible pickguard.

This instrument is available although it isn't on my website yet. I have a few instruments there on my "in-stock". Feel free to contact me if you want to know more about this guitar. It's probably best to contact me via my outside email rather than this one for a prompt reply: [email protected]

A visual work of art! What is the rosette and purfling material?

Hey, Guitar Friends--Gerald makes a beautiful guitar, for sure, and he stands behind his work as well as any luthier with whom I have done business, a top shelf act all the way around. A bit of a shameless plug, if any of you might be hankering for a Sheppard but a bit short on cash, my Sheppard GC-1 Deluxe is still for sale at boutiqueguitarshop.com. It's a great buy for an incredible instrument. Thanks, Jack

Gorgeous guitar Gerald. I really like the sound that African Blackwood imparts and that looks like a first class top as well. I love the design and visual details of this one.

You are on my short list of luthiers, so I hope to see you at Santa Barbara next year if you attend.

Whoever ends up with this guitar will be very lucky.
