Default Peñón del Cuervo, for acoustic guitar

Hello!

I have just recorded my first stereo (x-y par) guitar piece. Is a original brief piece for acoustic guitar (Larrivée OM-012 with Oktava MK-012 mics).

If somebody is interested can visit:

Any advice would be wellcomed.
Juan Carlos

Hi Juan Carlos,

your recording sounds very good, the oktava stereo pair does a great job. I like your song, and the magic of the disonant tones within the sweet melody.
greetings, Agustin

Nice playing and piece and welcome to the forum. Don't care for the sound though as it has the paradoxically typical XY hollow phasey sound. I have heard good sounding XY non pro studio recordings but they are the exceptions. The sound on the Sarabande recording is quite sweet though a little distant. Keep experimenting and keep posting your new clips.

I enjoyed the mixing of styles, very eclectic. I listened to a couple of your material and especially liked Bulerias de la Torre Zamba. It has an almost bluesy quality to it. Thanks for posting.
