Now on a plateau....with goals to improve my skills daily!

I thought I would give everyone an update!

Good Grief!

Evan 256 (Chip) and I got together again today. We started about 2:00 and went through all kinds of stuff. I carried all my equipment along so he could "rig" me out!

The lesson was again amazing! We did not stop until 5:30 and you would not believe how paitient Chip is.

We finished up our set list, began working on some of the patterns and chord progressions we would be using! Chip is really helping me get a grasp of the guitar. "Grasping" the guitar is more than what it sounds like.

The only way to describe it is a quote Chip uses allot, "if you know one, you know them all". This is really starting to click a bit with how to move up and down the neck.

For those who care, Here is the set list;

This Old Guitar
Lady
Catch the Wind
Lonely People
Route 66
Blue Eyes Crying
Sister Golden Hair
Hide Your Love Away
Who'll Stop the Rain
Over the Rainbow
Knocking on Heaven's

Chip also identified another 15 that are no brainers
and fit the teaching mode.

When you can forget there's a guitar in your hands and just let the music flow out. That's when the magic appears!!!!!!

TG:

I missed your update... Looks like a great song list. Thanks for the updates. Keep 'em coming. I would enjoy seeing what Chip is showing you.

You know a good meeting place may be at The Cliffs. Golf, Guitars, Great Food, the lake. Its about an hour and a half from both of us. Maybe other N.TX, OK TGF'ers would come.

GW,

Might not be a bad ideal!

What are you doing this Monday? We may do a jam session at Chips!

Call me on my cell phone, We are headed to South Padre Island this afternoon and won't be back until Sunday PM late.

I'm sure Chip won't mind another player.

If I don't hear from you by Friday afternoon I'll call you!

Thanks

I am supposed to be the 4th in a golf tournament but won't know for sure until tomorrow. Jammin at Chip's sounds fun, let's talk...

Still have my cell #?
