Post How about Huss & Daltons?

Anybody here have one? I've been loving Taylors for most of a decade, and still do, but it's nice play something different every now & then, & the H&D's are by far the best new guitars I've played.... Well, the new Doyle Dykes Taylor may be the best too.......
and there WAS that 810WMB....

Check out the 13th Fret forum (www.13thfret.com) which is an unofficial but intensely committed fan club of H&D guitars. You will find many discussions from owners around the country.

Talking

That brings a chuckle (I'm pretty sure I recall Jim being a regular over at the 13th)!

I've tried 5 H&Ds in my day. One was simply the best dreadnaught I've plucked in my entire life. A couple sounded good/not great, but were set up with relatively high action and I found them difficult to enjoy playing. (One reason I'm firmly in the Taylor camp is they play like butter for this ole electrical type o' guy.) The other two I'd characterize as excellent sounding. The workmanship on all appeared truly top notch.
