Larrivee Custom Shop L-09 $old
Hey AGF,
Have for sale a custom L-09 that was built for me in February 2017...(official Larrivee YouTube video link below) made with Italian-Alpine spruce harvested from Crema, Italy (same forest where Stradivarius harvested his violin tops) and beautiful Madagascan Rosewood and flamed Koa bindings. Plays effortlessly, with great intonation up the neck. Extremely resonant trebles and deep, throaty bass on the A and E strings. Upgrades include a Koa rosette (Larrivee's first-ever "wood rosette", according to Jean) and fingerboard binding, "Vine" headstock inlay with high-gloss Madagascan rosewood veneer, and of course tonewoods from their private selection stash reserved for custom orders. Has the initials "DF" on the 12th fret in Mother of Pearl. Has a 0.5" crack repaired on the top from a mic cable accidentally hitting the binding after a show, 100% structurally sound and sealed by my luthier. A few dings on the top and a scratch or two on the back, the things you would expect from a full-time performing guitar that has played over 500 shows. K&K pickup installed w/ internal microphone and second hole drilled for additional pickup... (Can include the DiMarzio magnetic if desired) Comes with a high-quality black Levy's Leather gig bag ($300 new, and very protective/cushioned with neck stabilizer!), upgraded gold Gotoh tuners with ebony buttons and upgraded Colosi bone nut and saddle. There is a purity of tone & note separation that Larrivee Guitars always seems to deliver. This guitar is a classic example of that. Every note is present and defined.Beautiful guitar & beautiful playing Dustin! |
