I've tried to convert a PDF file I have to jpeg so I can post it here. It's not working.

I don't think I have the proper programs on my computer.

Can I email this to someone and have to do it for me -

So if I am understanding you correctly you want to post an image of a PDF file ?
I don't know how to do that
If so can you take a screen shot of it and post that as an image ?

Trying to figure out how to do a screen shot on my Toshiba Satellite laptop and there is no prtscrn button anywhere, unless it's some "sign" that I'm not recognizing.

tried that - wanted me to buy an adobe program to do it. I found the prtscrn letters were almost black on a black key - doesn't seem to be working like it's supposed to (with FIN key)

For future reference for screen shots (I don't know much about windows or what "prtscrn" is ) but I believe screen shot is a software key command On Mac it is command (key) and 4

If all you need is a screenshot, Windows has a built in "snipping tool". You can use the keyboard shortcut (hit the Windows key, Shift and S key at the same time), or else run it from the start menu or search bar.

It is an easy conversion for anyone having a copy of Photoshop (even my version CS2 which is probably 20 years old). Open a .PDF, Save As .jpg .

On my Mac, I can go to "print", change it from PDF to jpeg (or whatever), then mail it to myself and drag and drop it where I want from there. There is probably a better way, but that's the one I learned.
