I haven't played an L-00, but I recently bought the new G-00 and it sounds really good. I'd say consider the G-00 too...

As far as I can figure the LOO Original is the same guitar as the L00 Standard with the exception of tuners and such. It all depends on what you want. If you want a nice sounding and looking modern Gibson with the L00 body style it might just work for you. If you want a guitar though which captures the sound of a 1930s L00 this is not going to be it. If that is the case you would do better digging up something like a used L00 Legend or 1932 L00 RI.

Just found the Martin CEO7. Just like the Gibson. Not looking for 30s tone. I love the body size and sunburst

I have a 2022 L-00 standard. I love it. I can’t comment on how it sounds or feels compared to a vintage L-00. But my L-00 sounds like a Gibson and is a keeper. I do think with L-00s you should play it before you buy it if at all possible. I think with mail order, especially with something like a L-00, there is a risk of it not being what you expected.

If it’s just the body size and sunburst you’re after, you might also want to look at the Huss and Dalton Crossroads. I’ve never played one, but H&D is well regarded and used prices seem to be decent on them.
