Saers S9S
Does anyone have any experience with this brand please? Have been offered an S9 Spruce over Ziricote with case, support and extra Savarez strings at what seems to be a really good price. They are I believe lattice braced, made in China.
I was told that when they were introduced to the USA just under a year ago, the recommended list price was $1200. The one I’ve been offered (new) over here is the equivalent of $450 delivered. Spoke with a Saers stockist in the USA online and he confirmed that the price is extremely low and that he is getting superb feedback from his customers re these. I’d be grateful for any information

I have looked at a Saers Torres M800 Tarrega 2021 French Polish model on Reverb by Danche Guitar Co in Chicago...beautiful looking instrument, but way more than the model you have been offered. You get what you pay for, with an occasional silver lining, so give the one you have been offered a play and see what you think. The Saers above certainly sounds great on video...and the build quality looks very nice as well on their higher end models.

Hi Jeff
Thank you for your reply and advice. The model you looked at is obviously way above the S9 in the Saers inventory. I’m a beginner and so looking at a guitar that would be the next step on from my Bautista. Apparently not too many models at my level have lattice bracing Ian

Well, I’m a bit above a beginner, maybe intermediate, but I ‘pine’ for well-made good sounding guitars…I would definitely look hard at that Saers guitar…if it’s like the one I’ve seen the workmanship should be top notch.

I’ve spotted a decent looking Aiersi now too. All solid German Spruce or Cedar/Indian Rosewood. Reduced to $799 or £615GBP. Retail $1000

Aiersi...I haven't looked at this brand before...they look well made, the ones I've looked at on Reverb are based on a Smallman design. Interesting...

I know very little about the various designs of classical guitars. I’ve heard of a Smallman. And in fact yesterday saw an Aiersi Smallman advertised for sale in the Uk at £250 used. I don’t know about the specs of that particular guitar.
