Should bridge pins be variable like string gauges?
I was wondering if anyone has made the high e bridge pin the shortest and lightest, while gradually increasing the pins length to match the gauge of the strings?
it would seem to me that the heavier gauge strings don't have to struggle like the treble side to get the top moving. |

Don't see any advantage to that.
