Just because it CAN be done doesn't mean it SHOULD be done!

I thought it was cool, but they don't just let you upload stuff... you have to "join"
and give them a bunch of information. The whole thing reminded me of
"deep fakes" - videos of people doing stuff they never did...

Funny, I am pretty easily creeped out by stuff but I find that quite interesting. I think when I view the faces I'm more focused on the technology they had to develop in order to animate those pictures.

Ok had to do it even though it’s very creepy. This is my great great great etc grandfather. Photo is from the 1870’s or so.

Grandma is dead and she's staying that way. Doesn't look good for Papaw either.

I understand the sentiment, but I couldn't help but think this is a great "Here's your 1st line, now write the rest" songwriting or short-story prompt.

I've seen YouTube videos on this.

It reminds me of some SF films where dead folks are re-animated and yes ....creepy!

Isn’t that what nightmares are for?

It’s long been a sort of fantasy of mine to see something like that used to create the greatest party that never was, with some of my favorite artists from the past, of course.
