Default Guild OM-150 Fret Buzz

Hey All! I recently acquired a NOS Guild OM-150. Plays and sounds great but there is a severe fret buzz at just the 12th and 13th fret of the high-e. Adjusting the truss in both directions didn't resolve it. I'm not a luthier but trying to learn how to do more of this maintenance myself. The buzz is quite severe, like it's barely able to sound out. How would you fine folks address this?

Thanks!

The 14th fret is high. It may be loose on the treble end.
As you have discovered, the truss rod has no effect on this part of the fingerboard.

Thanks! Can I gently tap that down myself or is there a more complicated repair required?

Tapping may work, but I generally have to glue it down or remove the fret and rebend it. Hammering frets tends to flatten them, causing the ends to spring up.

I successfully resolved it lightly tapping the 14th fret with a rubber mallet! Shocked anytime something resolves simply.

Thanks for the diagnosis!
