This is killing me! Arrived today, I brought it in the house at 130pm . Got home from work, did the temp test-took it out of the outer box.

Now in original guild box. Although it's room temperature, I kept rereading the 24 hour notice on the box.

I'm trying to do the right thing...it is soooooo friggin tough!

Enjoy the photos I can post. More to follow tomorrow night.20190115_190507~2.jpg20190115_190513.jpg

This weather here on the east coast is no joke. Trust me from personal experience. Wait it out.

Thank you, I will wait it out....it is so difficult to. I'm afraid if I do, it will harm my new baby.

When do you expect it to arrive? Photos when you get it! Once my baby sees the light tomorrow, I will let you know.

Step 2 of unboxing and acclimation! Took these photos this morning. She is now resting , still in her case, on the living room couch.

By the time I get home from work this evening, it will be well over 24 hours.

Photos of step 3 to follow!20190116_094128~2.jpg20190116_094134~2.jpg

I admire your patience. I think. I'd have had that puppy open last night. Especially since it has a satin finish. I hope you find it was well worth the wait!!

Looking forward to seeing this and hearing what you think of it. I almost bought one a few weeks ago and ended up with another J45 instead. I am so weak when it comes to Gibsons.
I still may get one of these as I'm a big Guild fan as well, and it would be perfect for couch playing.

They are SO good for couch playing!

Your patience is admirable. I fully convinced myself 6 is the new 24 the other day with mine!

The unveiling: She is a rich chocolate brown, plays like a dream out of the box (after tuning, of course.) 20190117_095641~2.jpg20190117_095710.jpg20190117_095720.jpg20190117_095743.jpg20190117_095736.jpg20190116_191001.jpg20190116_191211.jpg
