Default Martin Classical Guitar

I recently bought a Martin Guitar Model 000C12-16E. It is the new version of Martin Classical. It came with a nice soft case but I would like to purchase a hard case. Does anyone know which hard case provides the best fit for this guitar model?

Beautiful guitar, congratulations.

That body is described as a 000 12 fret body, so it may not fit in a standard classical case... It should fit in any case made for a 000-12 fret guitar...

You might want to try a standard classical case, just to see...I think a 000 is 15" across the lower bout, and a standard classical comes in somewhere about 14.5" So it's close.

The body length and depth on a 000 might be a little more than a classical, as well.

I concur with Mr. Beaumont. additionally you may find a 3/4 case that will work at your local pawn shop...there are good finds there occasionally, gator or chromacast that is. i needed one for one of mine a 1960 that had no case when i got it, and i found one at the pawn shop for $50...not trying to be cheap just cost effective...$50.00 is better than $200+ for a chromacast or gator

congratulations on your new guitar.

They are very nice guitars but I would not classify them as a classical guitar.

crossover or folk guitar would be more appropriate.

I concur. With a 26.44" scale length it's approaching baritone territory. What's the total length of the guitar?

I have a little parlor guitar, and I bought a 3/4 hard shell case and made little cushions to fill the gaps using fleece fabric. The guitar sits in the case nice and snug.

Congrats on the new guitar..

I used to own a 1968 0028c as my first classical and love it. That one fitted well in a typical standard case. But that said, why not go to your nearest guitar retailer and see if the have a case that will work for you... Most hard-shells are reasonably priced between $95 and $150. And by doing so, you know you have the right case.... I have made my case, wasn't that hard
