Agreed, slew foot repeat offenders need to be dealt with. Suspensions, not fines, because fines are a joke given the % of salary that is actually lost. What's $5k when the average salary (2020-21) is $2.5 M.

McDavid and Draisaitl are cruising along.

Tough week for NHL head coaches so far: The Canucks' Travis Green and The Flyers' Alain Vigneault are out. More to come?

When AV takes over a team they always play well the first year or two, then flatten out. Flyers look like they've gotten older, smaller, slower, and not great in goal. Probably the last go-round for Vigneault.

I can only hope that's The Flyers' team that shows up when they play The Pens.

I wonder if the Flyers will begin to sell assets? They are only a few games under .500. If Yeo can get them going, I can't see them cleaning house. We shall see.

It'll be interesting to see what Boudreau can do the the 'Nucks.

Carey Price joined the Canadiens' practice today in full equipment for the first time this season. I hope he's healthy and can play.

Marc-Andre Fleury won his 500th game last night! Only 3rd goalie to do so. Happy for him. He had a brutal start to the season with Chicago starting out 0-5 but turned it around winning 7 of his last 10 including 2 shutouts.

Chicago won't make the playoffs this year... I wonder if Fleury will play next year or if he will retire?

Not sure I'm a fan of this play, though it does take skill to keep your stick below crossbar.

I am mixed about it as well.

It's a great play but one that deserves to be in a skills competition. At least he didn't go around the net and put it in himself. What would have happened if someone tried that against the '74 or '75 Flyers? lol.

I think we're going to start seeing lots of games postponed in the next month .

They surely do! Their roster is decimated. Watching last night's game with The Pens I actually felt a little sorry for The Habs, something I never thought would happen. On the other hand I was delighted to see The Pens win 5-2 with Crosby getting 2 assists to give him 400 multiple point games in his career, and Kris Letang getting an assist to give him 600 points for his career.

Avalanche are 17-7 after a 4-5 start. Have beaten the Rangers (twice) and the Panthers in recent days. MacKinnon and Makar are both skating circles around the opposition. Most entertaining and efficient offense in the NHL right now.

Goaltending is still a bit of a question mark.

I'd like to see MacKinnon go deep in the playoffs. He would shine.

Bruins are in trouble. Lost last night and they couldn't even ice a complete team.

Cat - what's your thought on LeBron becoming part owner of the Penguins? Part of Fenway Sports Group. This pic was taken 2 days ago after LeBron played a game. Jersey looks a little small on him
