Yeah, I thought that was special too Bruce.

Became curious about the Squid Game and watched an episode two nights ago.

Watched two more yesterday.

Took a sluggish, lazy Saturday and finished the addicting series today.

Wow.

haha same! Checked out Squid game to see what the hype was all about, then ended up binging the whole thing in a few days!

I've just finished a few really good series on Netflix: Downton Abbey, Ripper Street, and the French Bonfire of Destiny. Right now, I'm looking for something decent to get my teeth into!

Yeah, hard to believe, I know, but in 45+ years, I'd never managed to catch The Godfather - until yesterday!

Had a lazy day, nothing on the agenda, binged both Parts 1 and 2. That's a lot of Godfather in one massive dose!

Liked the original just a little more than Part 2, but I give part 2 points for atmospherics and mood. And I'd totally forgotten about the famous horse head scene in Part 1. My jaw dropped when finally I saw it!

I don't know if I'll follow up on Part 3. I hear it's not as good as the first two, but we'll see ... after a solid 6 hours of it, I think I need a break!

I only watched the Godfather Parts 1,2,3 for the first time about 8 years ago. I too went many years before I watched it. If you like Al Pacino he did a great job in Scarface.

River was darn near the perfect crime drama IMO. Acting, writing, cinematography were superb. Stellan Skarsdgard and Nicola Walker were so incredibly good together.

Star Trek The Next Generation. Been a good eight years or so since I last watched it from start to end. I’m about to complete the troublesome first series, has been less of a struggle than I thought it would be (some of the bad episodes are unintentionally funny) but looking forward to it improving later on.

You'll know the shows will improve when Riker grows a beard . I think the next time I re-watch a Star Trek series it will be Voyager.

I’m a heretic - I’ve only seen TNG and a few episodes of the original series. I really need to up my Trekkie credentials.

TNG was fantastic. I thought the same of Voyager and Enterprise. I never got into the original series though or DS9.

I’ll maybe move onto them after I’ve finished TNG again. I forgot I have seen a few episodes of Picard too but I found it quite disappointing.

I've never seen Picard because I don't have that streaming service (is it CBS All Access?).
