Lovely playing and BOSS axe!

Thanks for the update!!!

Glad you are still smitten, and easy to see and hear why…

Everything about those two clips is excellent! I really enjoy your performance posts, even more so on that Circa. Keep ' em coming.

In short, I remain smitten! If I had to say one thing changed over the last year, I guess *maybe* the attack is a bit rounder? Honestly, this thing was a bit of a "completed work" for me soon as it arrived, Day. One.

The first vid is part of an etude I worked up in attempts to gain a little more right hand independence. The second is just a little quick improv I recorded for this thread a few mins ago -
As always, the playing is superb. I'm convinced Brian would make my first guitar, a laminate torture machine, sound like a Martin...

Thanks for sharing the follow-up. If you don't mind me asking, what strings have you settled on for your maple Circa? (Apologies if I asked that previously!)

Thanks so much, everyone! Foodie, I've settled on Elixir PBs more or less but I'd *rather* use John Pearse if the low E string didnt die after a couple strums . . .

Thanks! I've had 80/20's for a while, which I liked. Recently, I've been experimenting with nickel, which I think is so-so. But it's probably time to try something new, and I think JP PBs are in order for my next experiment!

I had the same relationship with JP strings — really liked their sound, for the short time it lasted. I’ve been using DR Veritas now for a while and like them a lot. They seem to have a pretty long life. Have you tried them?

No, I haven't! I'll check them out. Are they comparable tonally?

They are similar tonally, at least on the guitar I had them both on: a 12 fret Franklin Dread.
