Nice one, Rene. Enjoyed the vocal, and how you handled the change. I think your version is better than the Beatles' one (AAHHH! HERESY ALERT!).
Explanation and expiation - In the Beatles' version, the Lennon parts are thoughtful and poignant, but for me, the middle section is too overblown and self-endulgent. In my mind, the vocal is king in this song, and the middle section unbalances the tone of the song. Anyway, I'm sure no one will lose any sleep over what I think Good work.

That was wonderful Rene - I really enjoyed it!
As far as feedback, well, I think that I now understand Oasis.

Nice work! One of my favorite Beatles' tunes. Your rendition is really good.
Your voice also reminds me of Cat Stevens a little. I mean that as a huge compliment. |

Wow Rene. Awesome version of a song that’s a Tuff one to tackle! Especially solo with just guitar. Not many could pull this off. Best! Sage

Hi Sage, Truly a beautiful song, and with the pathways for the singer to go a lot of ways. You are correct, a challenging song, and also a melodically fun song to cover. Thanks for the superlative comments. Rene |
