Default Dang it - Tascam US800 problem

Been using the Tascam AI for 8 years now, guess I got my money's worth (got it barely used from another recordist for $100).
In the process of setting up a new studio room, so it got moved and now the right audio output is not working - headphone jacks are fine, so its a jack/board problem - yes, I opened it up and the RCA input and output jacks are part of 2 combined molded units directly attached to the board.
I always knew I wanted to move up to another AI at some point - the US800 has non-balanced output jacks only, but I never had a noise problem from them. Adapting from one of the headphone jacks for now, but there is some low-lying noise that way from the cheap splitter/adapter cables.
