Bruce Arnold series of books?
Anyone try out these books from this series?
I might get one of them to check it out. I'll post here with the results if no one's seen this before. Allan http://shop.barnesandnoble.com/books...old+Bruce+E%2E |

alchu,
cool! I've never seen these...gotta love that internet! They look like they could be very interesting... I'm a bit confused when I dig about this guy's website though.... I wish the 'excerpts' showed more than a lot of English... and are there CD's or tapes available?...I know there's online audio...but here today gone tomorrow is nothing new... www.arnoldjazz.com Like I said, could be very interesting...it's worth noting though that there is absolutely no lack of 'the facts' out there from hundreds of different sources...just wish the excerpts showed more of what is actually in the books... just out of curiosity...what musical direction are you personally heading in? if you say "nothing but raw bottleneck blues, dude"...is this the right instructional stuff for you? I saw your question in that other post...but time for dinner!

this looks great, actually. I definitely learned the "6th is my bonnie lies over the ocean" technique of learning to hear intervals. http://www.muse-eek.com/books/books.html I ended up buying Music Theory Workbook for Guitar: Volume One Single String Studies: Volume One But those ear training ones sound great. Again, once I get the books I'll let you guys know whether or not i like them. Allan |
