Default Scarborough Fair / Canticle ... One-Man Band Style

As I've noted in the YouTube description, I stumbled across one of my old one-man band videos this evening (for an REM tune) and decided it might be fun to do something similar with this classic Simon & Garfunkel song. A few hours later, here we are.

Wow, Mike, this is excellent. I rarely listen all the way through instrumentals but this kept my interest all the way to the end! Very, very well done!

Mike,

I definitely remember the REM you did with your hats and ties. That one was one of the top ten in S&T history imho.

This as well is excellent and done with Stamper style; clean, classy and lovely to listen to.

Many bravos here Mike,

eric

Loved it. What video editing software do you use?

Bob, I appreciate your devotion. Seriously, I think that may be one of the reasons that I rarely write original music or arrangements of covers that push much beyond the two-minute mark. I don't have the attention span myself, so I certainly can't expect it from anybody else!

The only video software I use is iMovie. Most of my stuff just has a single clip, where syncing the audio only takes me a couple of minutes. Getting everything properly aligned for this little venture took a couple of hours.

Most excellent Mike, I really enjoyed your playing and creativity very much. And I really like all of your ball caps (I mean) guitars a lot.

I loved that, Mike... absolutely beautiful! You did Paul Simon proud. Thanks for putting that all together.

I had trouble keeping up with all the ball caps though...

Thanks guys.

Kerbie, everybody in my band has a distinct personality. I try to force them to keep most things under wraps, but I do indulge their hat quirks.

Awesome, I played along with it this morning playing the original Paul Simon arrangement as accompaniment. That was fun. I'm working on a solo fingerstyle version now. Thanks for posting this.
