Check out Lyrical Lumber in Maitland (north side of Orlando, just off I-4).

Check Out Rich Mermer. He's a pretty solid luthier. I owned a guitar of his it was Koa Back and sides.

This fella is close. I will call him. I did not have a clue he was in Hawthorne. Much closer than Sebring.

Mr. Teigen is eccentric. Sometimes he'll take work, sometimes he won't, based on the restorations he is doing. His latest is that he didn't have the time for a drop-fill for a Lowden neck I dinged, because he "doesn't want to work on new guitars". This is after he did a nitro finish on a new AllParts tele neck for me. I think he only will do what he wants to do, and that's where it begins and ends. When he says he is "overwhelmed" by a drop-fill (in addition to his workload), that may mean it's time to find another guy, who does pro-grade finish work. Not many in this part of the world. When he chooses to do a task, his work is remarkably good. It's mostly getting him, when he has time around the restorations he does (for large $). His business-his policies. I am considering another more consistently available option.
